Our promise

Your data is never sold. It's never used to train outside AI. Vendors who help run the app work under contract and only for us.

What we collect

Your sign-in email, your city, languages, occupation and experience, and your answers. Your stories, skills and licenses. References people give you. Your matches, plans, reviews and what people observed at meetups. Safety reports you make or that name you. A home address only if you add one for commute times; it's encrypted and used only to compute your drive time.

What others see

Fit labels and vouch counts, never your answers. Your name and photo only after you both say Meet. What references say about you stays private, from you too. Age and gender are never shown. What's hidden, and when

AI and audits

AI picks the 5 things you can share with each match and writes your work profile. It never decides for you. Optional answers for bias checks are stored apart, seen by no one, and never used in matching.

Face and ID checks

Optional. Stripe compares your selfie to your ID. We keep only that you're verified, the date, your verified name and an 18-or-older yes or no, and ask Stripe to delete the images 30 days after the check. Background checks are run by Checkr; we keep only the tier, status and date.

Who helps us run the app

A database and sign-in provider, Stripe for payments and ID checks, Checkr for background checks, an email provider, and a maps provider for commute times. Each may use your information only to provide that service.

Your copy, and leaving

Settings, then Download my data, any time. Deactivate hides you and keeps your account. Delete permanently gives you 30 days to change your mind, then erases everything: profile, answers, stories, matches, references given and received, ratings, photos and your sign-in. People you matched with see only "a past match". We keep safety reports and billing records only where the law requires, without your name.
