Verification

Badges that tell you something. Never a way to buy rank.

Every check is optional and paid at about what it costs. A badge is shown on cards so the other side knows more, but it never changes anyone's score or ranking.

Good to know

Licenses count without a badge

A license entered with its number and state counts for matching right away, including roles that require it by law. The badge adds confidence for the other side.

Employer-requested checks

After an offer, an employer can ask for a check. You accept or decline in the app. If you accept, they pay (Basic $49.99, Essential $79.99, Complete $114.99) and the report goes to both of you from Checkr.

What we never keep

Your date of birth, ID number, ID or face images, Social Security number, or any background-check report or result.

Drug tests and physicals

Drug tests, physicals and registry checks are part of the employer's own hiring process after an offer. The app doesn't run or store them.

Questions

Is verification required?

No. Every check is optional. Badges are shown on cards, but they never change your score or where you rank.

Do you keep my ID?

No. Stripe, our ID vendor, compares your selfie to your ID. We keep only that you're verified, the date, your verified name and an 18-or-older yes or no. We ask Stripe to delete the images 30 days after the check.

Does my license count if I don't verify it?

Yes. A license entered with its number counts for matching, including jobs that require it by law. It shows as "Self-reported". Verification adds a badge.

Can certifications be verified?

Yes, where the issuer has a public lookup: BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPR cards, the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, NCCER, phlebotomy, NREMT, ARRT and a few more, the same way and price as a license ($29.99). Others, like TWIC or a DOT medical card, stay self-reported and still match.

Does a multistate nursing license count in Texas?

Yes. A multistate RN or LVN license from a Nurse Licensure Compact state counts in Texas and every other compact state that accepts it. Nursing checks go through Nursys, which shows the multistate status.

Do you run drug tests or physicals?

Drug tests, physicals and registry checks are part of the employer's own hiring process after an offer. The app doesn't run or store them.

Who sees a background check?

Only a badge (the tier and date), shown after you both say yes, and in hiring only where local law allows at that stage. Nobody here ever sees the report.
