How fields are matched

How related two people are

Steps removed between occupations come from O*NET's structure and its related-occupations lists, so a nurse and an LVN, or a machinist and a CNC programmer, count as close.

Industries too

Pick the industries you work in or serve. Different professions in the same industry count as connected.

Same scale for everyone

Both sides answer the same questionnaire, whatever the field, so a nurse and an estimator are compared on the same terms.

Questions

Is my field covered?

Yes. Every one of the 23 standard occupation groups is in the picker, from healthcare to the military. Roles with detailed checklists have their own pages; the rest start with an empty checklist you can fill as the full O*NET import arrives.

How do you decide who's related?

Steps removed between occupations come from the federal occupation structure (SOC) and O*NET's related-occupations lists, so nobody draws connection maps by hand.

Which licenses count?

Any license on the list, entered with its number, counts for matching right away. Verification ($29.99) is optional and adds a badge.

Your first match could be this week.

Free to join. Answer the basics in a few minutes and you can be matched right away. Everything else you add makes matching better.
